Two in Yorkshire and north-east among 15 to die across England with coronavirus

A further 15 people have sadly died after testing positive for coronavirus in England, including two in Yorkshire and the north-east.

The deaths bring the total number of confirmed reported fatalities in hospitals in England to 29,515.

The patients – who were between 27 and 95 years old and all had known underlying health conditions – died between July 23 and August 24, with the majority since Saturday.

The figures released by NHS England do not include deaths in other settings, including care homes.
