A new interactive map from Public Health England shows which areas have the highest seven-day rolling infection rates as the government holds talks over a possible Tier 3 lockdown for the city.
The seven-day rates are expressed per 100,000 members of the population and are calculated by dividing the seven-day case count by the area population and then multiplying it by 100,000.
It shows how much positive cases have risen in a particular area during a seven-day period.
The 12 neighbourhoods below have a seven-day rolling infection rate of 500 or above.

1. ENDCLIFFE AND RANMOOR
According to the latest data, which covers October 7-13, Endcliffe and Randmoor had the highest seven-day rolling infection rate at 1,605.6 with 162 cases recorded that week. Photo: Google Maps
2. HIGHFIELD AND LOWFIELD
