In the last month, 11 healthcare services in Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham have had an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which ensures services are up to scratch for patients.
The CQC will provide an overall rating to a service, after inspectors consider whether it is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
This rating might be 'outstanding', 'good', 'requires improvement', or 'inadequate'.
Each of the five categories are also rated individually, and detailed in a report which is made available to the public.
'Good' and 'outstanding' ratings are reviewed yearly by the CQC, who decide on the basis of any new evidence whether the service needs inspecting again.
In the last month, 478 NHS and private healthcare services including care homes, hospitals, dentists, specialist clinics, homecare agencies, GPs and mental health services have been inspected across the UK.
Dentists are not given ratings by the CQC, but rather deemed "no action" in the five key areas, including whether a service is safe.

5. Yourcare 24
Good: Yourcare 24, based at Attercliffe Common, Sheffield, is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people living in their own homes. In the latest inspection report published on January 11, it was rated "good" overall. | Google

Requires improvement: Lower Bowshaw View Nursing Home, on Lowedges Crescent, Sheffield, is a care home providing personal and nursing care for to up to 40 people. In the latest inspection report, published on January 5, it was rated "requires improvement" overall. | Google
7. Linwood House
Good: Linwood House, on Wensley Road, Barnsley, is a residential substance misuse service providing alcohol and drug detoxification and/or rehabilitation to adults. Linwood House accepts mainly privately funded clients. Its misuse services received a "good" rating in an inspection report published on December 20. No action: Hoyland Family Dental Centre, on Milton Road, Barnsley, is part of Nationwide Healthcare. It provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children. "No action" was recommended in the recent inspection report published on January 19. | Google
