NHS England has today announced 51 more deaths of hospital patients who tested positive for Covid-19, taking the total number in England so far to 28,435.

The last death recorded in the city was that of a 13-day-old baby at the city’s Children’s Hospital.

Since yesterday there has been one more death recorded in South Yorkshire.A hospital patient in Doncaster died, taking the town’s death toll to 216.There have been 186 deaths in Rotherham and 140 in Barnsley.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson relaxed lockdown rules yesterday to allow bars, restaurants, camp sites and hairdressers to start trading again from July 4.

Swimming pools, indoor gyms, nail bars and beauty salons are still not allowed to open.
