Sheffield's coronavirus death toll increases again as 366 more patients die in England

According to NHS England, a total of 221 hospital patients in Sheffield have died after contracting Covid-19 – an increase of three since yesterday’s figures were released.

In Rotherham, there have been 119 deaths – up six since yesterday; there have been 107 deaths in Doncaster –up four and there have been 92 in Barnsley, which is the same as yesterday.

The number of hospital patients to have died across the England after being testing positive for coronavirus now stands at 21,750.

There have been 366 deaths recorded in hospitals in England since yesterday.
