Sheffielders invited to join in with events to mark Diabetes Awareness Week
People in Sheffield are invited to join in with a number of events set to be held in the city to mark Diabetes Awareness Week.
The awareness week runs between June 14 and 20, and the Sheffield group of charity Diabetes UK is holding a number of events with the aim of “having fun” and “spending time together in nature.”
On June 16, participants will take part in a “flat, pretty, interesting walk” that departs from the city at 2pm. Email [email protected] to take part.
This will be followed by a Zoom meet up on June 17 at 7pm with Alison Holloway, Diabetes Dietician, on the topic of “why we eat,” and discussing whether having a greater understanding of this could lead to healthier eating.
Those wishing to take part should sign up online, via this link: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/why-do-we-eat-the-key-to-unlock-healthy-eating-tickets-157779068441
