The awareness week runs between June 14 and 20, and the Sheffield group of charity Diabetes UK is holding a number of events with the aim of “having fun” and “spending time together in nature.”

On June 16, participants will take part in a “flat, pretty, interesting walk” that departs from the city at 2pm. Email [email protected] to take part.

This will be followed by a Zoom meet up on June 17 at 7pm with Alison Holloway, Diabetes Dietician, on the topic of “why we eat,” and discussing whether having a greater understanding of this could lead to healthier eating.

Those wishing to take part should sign up online, via this link: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/why-do-we-eat-the-key-to-unlock-healthy-eating-tickets-157779068441
