Sheffield reaches grim milestone of 2,000 coronavirus cases: Location of every South Yorkshire case

The number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus in Sheffield has now topped 2,000.

Figures released yesterday, and due to be updated later today, reveal that 2,009 positive tests have been confirmed in the city so far.

Sheffield’s death toll stands at 198, which is an increase of three on yesterday’s figures.

There have been 411 positive tests in Doncaster and 90 deaths; 655 confirmed cases in Rotherham and 96 deaths; plus 590 positive tests in Barnsley and 78 deaths.
