Dore Dental Care, on Causeway Head Road in Dore, has been operating for 40 years and was sold by Dr Jon Meyer, who had owned the practice since 2000, first in partnership and then as sole principal from 2011.

The surgery has been bought by Dr Sanraj Dulay, a first-time buyer from the Midlands.

Dr Dulay’s plans include refitting the practice’s third surgery and expanding its range of private treatments. Dr Meyer, meanwhile, is looking to remain at the clinic for a minimum of three years.

Jonathan Watson, director at Christie & Co which handled the sale, said: “It was a real pleasure to deal with both Jon and Sanraj who were collaborative and extremely positive from start to finish. Dore Dental Care is a reputable practice with huge private potential due to the exceptional affluent location. I understand Dr Dulay will look to grow the private side of the practice whilst Dr Meyer is looking to remain at the practice for many years to come.”

Dr Meyer added: "Having owned the practice for 20 years the thought of selling was daunting, but I must admit the process hasn’t been too stressful at all. There have been a few minor hiccups, but Jonathan and my legal team were able to quickly resolve them.”

Dore Dental Care was sold with its freehold interest included.
