Promising figures show 25 areas of Sheffield with less than ten new Covid cases this week

The latest NHS data has revealed where Covid-19 is dropping off dramatically in Sheffield.

The following neighbourhoods, some of which were blighted by hundreds of cases during the peak of the pandemic, recorded less than 10 cases in the last week according to this interactive map published by the government.

Sheffield has had to endure strict Tier 3 restrictions since the national lockdown ended at the beginning of the month, so this is promising news for people hoping the city will be placed into Tier 2 come the government review on December 16.
