New figures reveal latest coronavirus death toll in Sheffield

New figures today have revealed that another seven patients have died in Sheffield hospitals after contracting coronavirus.

The death toll for the city now stands at 177.

According to NHS England, 17,373 patients who tested positive for Covid-19 have now died after another 587 deaths.

In Doncaster, 71 deaths have been recorded – up three on yesterday’s figure.

A total of 75 patients have died in Rotherham, which is the same as yesterday.
