NHS England has recorded 287 deaths in Sheffield, 229 in Doncaster, 196 in Rotherham and 148 in Barnsley.
Since yesterday, the deaths of another 15 hospital patients who tested positive have been recorded in England, with the death toll for the country now 29,066.
The latest patients to die were aged between 72 and 96 and all but one had known underlying health conditions.
