The Board was set in July up to look at the next stage of Covid-19 emergency, including what would happen during a local lockdown.

It has a number of key aims including preventing the spread of the virus, knowing what is happening in communities, responding to outbreaks if and when they occur and developing confidence in partners and residents that they have a plan.
