Fitwins offers unique fitness challenges, in which users can earn medals, certificates, rewards and prizes for completing monthly challenges, starting at covering a total of 25 miles in one month, including running and walking activities.

Users can complete each challenge at their own pace, in their own time, and can invite friends to take part in each challenge as a group, creating leaderboards

for added motivation.

Fitwins health and fitness start-up already has a global reach, with users in USA, Australia, and Europe in addition to the UK.

Since founding the company over one year ago, Carl Ryde (CEO), an elite marathon runner who has represented England at international level, has seen considerable demand for their virtual challenges.

He said: “We started with a focus on solving the problem of exercise motivation, people want to get fit and active and understand the benefits in terms of their overall health and well-being, but many people find it difficult to stick at it.

"We provide motivators to get people focused on completing their goals. When a user completes a Fitwins challenge, they receive a bespoke medal, certificate and products from partners delivered to them by post and are motivated throughout the month to complete the challenge.

"We’ve seen considerable demand for this innovation and have decided to launch an app on both Android and iOS platforms to develop our product and make Fitwins an immersive experience.

"Exercise should be fun and engaging. I wanted to bring a new product to market that would change how people engage in physical activity, and make it a positive experience.
