I write following my first visit to Morrisons since the virus descended on us, as I’ve been using Asda as it’s convenient for getting to the bank.

I was ushered into Morrisons, and quickly noticed people were all around me.

I asked a member of staff which aisles I should be going up, and which ones I should be going down.

I was told I could go anywhere.

It’s back to Asda from now on, as they are at least trying to use a system that works enough to keep you healthy.

I then went to one of my local shops, and as I was about to enter, a young woman with her nose stuck in her phone came ambling out.

I stepped to one side, she turned to the same side without noticing me.

I quickly moved in the opposite direction, and she changed her mind without looking, and went the same way as me.

She was literally within about six inches of me, and she hadn’t once looked up from her phone.

She clearly thinks six feet distancing is the same as 6in.

Not that she thinks, she’s just another brainless idiot.

Life is about ups and downs, and as I try to follow the rules I consider myself happy to be locked down, while those who can’t organise their shops or look where they are going in the street, I consider myself happy if they get locked up.
