Thirteen Covid-19 patients die in South Yorkshire but Sheffield's toll remains the same

Thirteen more patuents who tested positive for Covid-19 in South Yorkshire hospitals have died, according to latest data, but none of them were in Sheffield.

According to the latest figures released by the NHS today (December 7) there were no more Covid-related deaths reported in Sheffield hospitals.

The total in Sheffield remains 511, after an increase of 16 was reported yesterday.

Nine more deaths were recorded in Doncaster, taking the total to 459.

Two more died in Rotherham and Barnsley, taking the totals to 357 and 332 respectively.
