These are the Sheffield areas with the fewest new Covid-19 cases

The coronavirus infection rate is rising rapidly in Sheffield but some parts of the city have seen many fewer cases than others.

10 Sheffield areas had two or fewer positive cases last week, according to government data.

The latest available government data reveals that 10 neighbourhoods in the city registered two or fewer new positive Covid-19 cases in the week between September 20 and 26, with just three cases recorded in another two places.

The below 12 neighbourhoods of Sheffield, which remains an ‘area of concern’ on the Government’s Covid-19 watchlist, have been least-affected by coronavirus in the last week.

Fulwood and Lodge Moor only recorded three positive cases.

Beighton also only recorded three new positive cases.
Lower Stannington has two or fewer cases
Wadsley and Marlcliffe had two or fewer cases.
The Norfolk Park area also had two or fewer cases recorded
Arbourthorne had two or fewer recorded cases
Gleadless has two or fewer recorded cases
Herdings and Gleadless Valley had two or fewer positive recorded cases of Covid-19
The area of Richmond and Stradbroke had two or fewer positive cases of the virus last week
Hackenthorpe recorded two or fewer cases also
Westfield and Waterthorpe recorded two or fewer cases
Sothall recorded two or fewer cases
