The fast food giant announced that it would close all its outlets in the UK and Ireland from 7pm tonight, following government guidance on social distancing.

In the wake of the news hundreds of people have gone out to get McDonald’s food for one last time before the closure.

Traffic is moving slowly on Archer Road in Sheffield, as well as Bawtry Road in Bramley, Rotherham, due to queues backed up as people wait to get to the drive-thru.
