Sheffield neighbourhoods where lockdown isn't working and Covid-19 cases are still rising

There are 12 areas of Sheffield where lockdown is not working, as coronavirus infections continue to rise despite restrictions.

Latest data from Public Health England based on positive virus tests in hospitals and in the community in the week to February 11, shows there are a dozen neighbourhoods in the city where cases are going up.

Infections jumped by 150 percent in one area of Sheffield according to the most recent figures, even though national lockdown restrictions are still in place aimed at slowing the spread of the virus.
