Sheffield FC's Disability Team share a message of thanks to key workers

Sheffield FC’s Disability Team has released a video message thanking NHS staff and other key workers across the nation for their continued efforts.

During the video all members of the team hold up banners designed by each player and containing their own messages of thanks to NHS staff, truck drivers, warehouse operatives and any other key workers in the UK.

The teams junior secretary, Kayleigh Robinson, said: “All the kids were very bored at home and have been inspired by other videos like the toilet roll challenge.

“Under 16 coach Alex Whitehead and I came up with the idea for the team to display creative messages of thanks and encouragement from the safety of their own homes.”

The message also urges members of the public to stay at home so that the efforts all key workers are not carried out in vain.
