Sheffield Covid-19 death toll rises as 13 more people sadly die in South Yorkshire

The latest data from NHS England revealed six coronavirus-related deaths have been confirmed in Sheffield in the last 24 hours, as well as three in Barnsley, one in Doncaster and a further three in Rotherham.
Nationally, a further 353 people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 38,865.

Hide AdThe patients were aged between 10 and 100 years old. All except nine – aged 31 to 90 years old - had known underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
The latest increase brings the total number of coronavirus-related deaths in Sheffield’s hospitals since the pandemic hit to 453. In Doncaster, 398 people have died, while 304 deaths have been recorded in Rotherham and 280 in Barnsley.
On Tuesday, Sheffield’s director of public health said he expects the city to go back into Tier 3 restrictions from 2 December.
