Saturday's coronavirus figures revealed for Sheffield, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Mansfield, High Peak and Bassetlaw

It represents the daily number of new people with a lab-confirmed positive test result reported in the city on Saturday, September 26.
It is a fall from Thursday's figure which was 105, but brings the total number of cases seen in the city up to 5,852.

Hide AdSheffield’s weekly infection rate has climbed sharply, with 430 confirmed cases recorded during the seven days to Wednesday, September 23, giving a rate of 73.5 per 100,000 people – up from 45.3 the previous week.


The figures, for the seven days to September 23, are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government's testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two).
The rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people.
Data for the most recent three days (September 24-26) has been excluded as it is incomplete and likely to be revised.

Hide AdDoncaster saw 22 new cases on Saturday, taking its total to 2,417
Doncaster’s seven day figure was 142 confirmed cases, up from 110, a rate of 45.5, up from 35.3
In Chesterfield there were two new cases on Saturday, taking the total up to 607. The seven day figure was 20, up from 13, a rate of 19.1.
HIgh Peak had seven cases yesterday, bringing its total to 608. The seven day figure was 46, up from 41, and an infection rate of 49.6 per 100,000.

Hide AdMansfield saw 12 new cases, taking its total to 498. The seven day figure was up to 33 from 23, an infection rate of 30.2.
Bassetlaw saw three new cases, taking its total to 715. The seven day figure was up to 20 from 12, with an infection rate of 17.0.
In Burnley, 228 new cases were recorded in the seven days to September 23 - the equivalent of 256.4 per 100,000 people.
Burnley has the highest rate in England, up from 145.1 in the seven days to September 16.

Hide AdLiverpool has the second highest rate, up from 131.1 to 243.8 with 1,214 new cases.
Knowsley is in third place, where the rate has risen from 132.6 to 241.9, with 365 new cases.
