Popular restaurant Street Food Chef sends message to Sheffield as it reveals four week closure
Popular Sheffield Mexican canteen Street Food Chef has announced that it will close its doors from today (March 23) and will remain closed for at least four weeks.

There are two Street Food Chefs in Sheffield, and the one in Sharrow will close with immediate effect, the company has said.
The one on Arundel Street in the city centre will close from 9pm.

Hide AdA statement from owners Abi and Richard Golland said: “It is with huge sadness that we have decided to close the Street Food Chef today.
“We are planning to close for four weeks, and will review things at that point.
“This decision has been really tough to make but following the government announcement on Friday, it enables us an our teams to manage the coming weeks with a degree of safety and certainty.”
On Friday the government announced a grant that will pay 80% of the wages of workers at businesses coronavirus forces to close.
