Popular Doncaster restaurant and bar boarded up during coronavirus lockdown

A popular Doncaster bar and restaurant forced to close its doors because of the coronavirus lockdown has been boarded up for security.

Relish, on East Laith Gate, has blacked out all its doors and windows for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Announcing the news on Facebook, a restaurant spokesman said: “We have boarded up for the lockdown.

“We will Relish your return when things get back to normal.

“Stay safe everyone, you are truly missed and we cannot wait to be at your service.

All UK restaurants, cafes and pubs were ordered to close by Prime Minister Boris Johnson in a bid to prevent the spread of the virus.
