According to online flight trackers, a plane with the call sign G-POLZ has been flying over both Sheffield and Doncaster this evening.

Earlier this week, South Yorkshire Police denied the police helicopter was being used to monitor the coronavirus lockdown.

But again last night, multiple residents complained of a loud aircraft ‘hovering’ over the city for extended periods.
