One more Covid death announced in Sheffield as 10 more die across UK

One more person has sadly died with coronavirus in Sheffield, NHS England have announced.

The person, who has not been named, died on April 1 but their death wasn’t announced until Friday.

Across the UK, 10 further deaths were announced on Saturday, including eight in England.

In total, 126,826 people have now died within 28 days of a positive Covid test in the UK.

However, when all deaths were Covid is mentioned on the death certificate are included, the total number in the UK stands at 149,168.
