No coronavirus deaths recorded in Yorkshire hospitals

There have been no coronavirus deaths in hospitals in Yorkshire, according to the latest daily figures.

NHS England data released on Saturday, September 5 confirmed that no Covid-19 deaths have been recorded in the region's hospitals.

A further eight people died outside of the region.

One person died in the east of England, two people died in London, four people died in the north west and one person died in the south east region.

Patients were aged between 56 and 94 years old.

All had known underlying health conditions.

The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England is 29,604

NHS England publishes the number of patients who have died in hospital and tested positive for COVID-19 in England.

Since Tuesday, April 28 NHS England and NHS Improvement also reports the number of patient deaths where there has been no COVID-19 positive test result, but where COVID-19 is documented as a direct or underlying cause of death on part 1 or part 2 of the death certification process.
