New coronavirus data reveals worst-hit areas of Sheffield with the most deaths

Data from the Office of National Statistics has revealed the number of coronavirus deaths in every neighbourhood in the UK between March and June this year.

The information gives an insight into the way the virus has impacted Sheffield on a local level, breaking down the number of deaths from Covid-19 by postcode and giving the percentage of the total deaths in each area that were caused by coronavirus.

Although the number of people who died from coronavirus in Sheffield in June was lower than in previous months, the updated figures still show that the virus is continuing to claim lives in the city.
