Meadowhall in Sheffield has again been lit up in a dazzling tribute to the ‘wonderful’ key workers keeping the nation safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

The shopping centre was illuminated in the colours of the rainbow yesterday, Thursday, April 30, to tie in with the latest Clap For Our Carers round of applause which echoed around streets across the city.

Meadowhall is largely closed, with only a handful of essential stores including Marks & Spencer remaining open during the COVID-19 lockdown.
