Last week, Doncaster Royal Infirmary said that seven people in Doncaster had been successfully treated for COVID-19 and had been released from hospital.

The number of cases in the town is believed to be far higher, with only people admitted to hospital being tested for the virus.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is among those being treated in hospital for coronavirus.

Last night, it was reported that the PM had been admitted to hospital for precautionary checks and tests after being diagnosed with coronavirus ten days ago.

He is said to be in ‘good spirits’ and has maintained that he is still in charge of the national response to the crisis.
