A spokesman said: “A more mixed picture to bring you all today - in the past 24 hours we have admitted a further five patients who have tested positive for Covid-19, our largest rise in a single day for a little while.

"At the same time however and on a positive note, we have safely discharged a further three individuals, meaning we are currently caring for ten patients with the disease – eight at DRI and two at Bassetlaw Hospital.

“As has been outlined by the Government, cases within the community are rising, so it is important we all continue in our efforts of hands, face and space.

"Our position is still very manageable, and our winter preparations are in place, so please keep up the good work locally. We depend upon your support to protect those most vulnerable amongst us.”
