Doncaster band Bang Bang Romeo release hilarious coronavirus song to raise cash for NHS

Rising Doncaster band Bang Bang Romeo shared the track on Facebook, describing it as ‘the Covid-19 anthem you’ve all been waiting for.”
Lead singer Anastasia Walker filmed herself singing a version of Adele’s Hello with an acoustic guitar – with lyrics changed to funny lines to reflect the current crisis.

Hide AdShe sings: “I’ve been staying inside all the time because of COVID-10, staying healthy-ish and clean.
“I’ve exhausted all of Netflix, because there’s f*** all else to stream.
“So keep your distance between us – approximately two metres.”
The chorus contains the line: “Hello from the inside – I’ve washed my hands a thousand times.”

Hide AdThe song also takes a swipe at UK Prime Minister and US president Donald Trump.
She sings: “Hello, it’s Bo-Jo, our PM is still finer than that orange bloke who keeps blaming China.”
“Please use a tissue – and don’t be a d***”
“So thank you NHS and keyworkers – when all this blows over, can they get a pay rise?”
The group, who hail from Doncaster, played Wembley Stadium last summer, supporting US singing superstar Pink on her UK and European tour.

Hide AdThe group released their debut album last year and also staged a number of fundraising shows for victims of the Doncaster floods.
