A Sheffield store which has been forced to close because of the coronavirus crisis has announced it is giving away free soap to those in need.

The Sheffield branch of Lush in Fargate closed its doors yesterday over the COVID-19 outbreak – but is giving away stocks to groups, NHS groups, schools, charities and the vulnerable.

On Facebook, a spokesman wrote: “We have had over 40 requests from different organisations in less than an hour.

“We’re currently working on getting back to everyone who has emailed so far. Thank you everyone!

“As of yesterday we are now closed for the foreseeable future. But that means we have some spare soap that we want to share with you!”
