Sheffield City Council has opened a help centre for over 70s during the coronavirus pandemic.

The service is also open to vulnerable people who need help and support as the COVID-19 outbreak continues across the country.

The aim of the service is to provide help with food, gas, electric and medication as well as offering advice to those who need it.

The telephone helpline is 0114 2057120 and is open 9pm to 5pm Monday to Friday.
