“At the moment we are running our business as usual and will continue to do so until informed otherwise.

“However, we understand the majority of our customer base fall into the 'high risk' category, which have been told to self isolate.

“In order to put our customers first we have decided to offer the service of free delivery, this applies to our hot pies, pork pies, quiches, cooked meats, sausages and bacon.

“The delivery will be a minimum spend of £25 and will be delivered by our very own Matthew Topping.

The firm is also making some unbaked frozen products available to buy directly from its offices on Chappel Drive.

A spokesman said: “This lessens any social contact as we are a small office in a quiet industrial estate and makes the products more sustainable as they are unbaked and frozen increasing shelf life.”

The firm's roots stem from 1961 when Bill Topping opened a butcher’s shop before passing the baton to son Roger.
