Sheffield will be moved into Tier 3 of the new coroanvirus restrictions from one minute past midnight on Saturday, October 24, South Yorkshire metro mayor Dan Jarvis has confirmed this morning.
The government health body has released new figures revealing the areas in the city that have the highest infection rates, as the new lockdown measures loom.
Data from the seven days up to October 15 highlights the 25 neighbourhoods in Sheffield that have a rate of over 400 new infections in every 100,000 people.
