The 14 areas of Sheffield with the most new coronavirus cases - including one with over 100

As the coronavirus infection rate in Sheffield continues to rise, one part of the city has now seen more than 100 cases in the last week alone.

There were 101 Covid-19 cases recorded in Endcliffe & Ranmoor during the week ending on September 30, the latest period for which such localised data is available.

That’s the ninth highest figure for any area in England, though there are four neighbourhoods in Manchester which had 100 or more new cases during the same period, including one with 339.

Fears over tighter restrictions in Sheffield as nearly 300 Covid-19 cases recorded in one day

Broomhall had the 24th most new Covid-19 cases in that week, with 57 people testing positive for the virus.

There were eight neighbourhoods in Sheffield with 20 or more cases and 25 with at least 10.
