Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice’s first ever ‘Bring in Spring’ raffle raises £28,000

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is thanking all those who took part in its first ever Bring in Spring raffle after the appeal raised a stunning £28,000 for the charity.

The impressive sum received a further boost when the kind-hearted winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, chose to donate her £2021 jackpot back to the hospice!

The runners-up, who bagged an overnight trip to Gullivers Valley Resort and a supercar experience at Donnington Park, were both delighted to receive the good news.

Rachael Dawes, Individual Giving Manager at Bluebell Wood, said: “We’re over the moon with the response to our Bring in Spring raffle and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part.

“We’d also like to express our sincere gratitude to our incredibly generous winner who kindly chose to gift her winnings back to the hospice.

“The pandemic has had a significant impact on our ability to raise funds over the past year so the success of our raffle has been very welcome indeed.

“Every single person who took part is helping us to make precious memories with local children and families who sadly don’t know how long they’ll have together.”

Bluebell Wood will be launching another raffle in due course, but in the meantime, people can still be in with a chance of scooping £1,000 each week while helping local families make the most of every moment.

With the £1,000 jackpot up for grabs every week, supporters can play Bluebell Wood’s charity lottery for as little as £1 per week. Everything you need to know about the Bluebell Wood lottery can be found here https://www.bluebellwood.org/play-the-lottery
