The Sheffield’s Children’s Hospital is challenging people to raise £30 in 30 days to make a difference to patients, families and staff at the hospital by doing something active every day.A spokesman said: “You can walk, run, dance or do an online work out to get active, how you move is up to you - as long as you are doing something everyday. How you raise your £30 is up to you too.

“You could set up a JustGiving page or Facebook fundraiser and ask friends and family to sponsor you, or donate £1 per day that you would have spent on a coffee or lunch if you were at work. The choice really is yours.”

Chralotte explained why she decided to get involved: “The reason I did it is because I’m vulnerable so I can’t help with much of the other things that are happening in our community this allows me to help raise money for the Sheffield’s Children Hospital at home.

“All hospitals are struggling at the moment due to the current crisis and I just wanted to help them raise some money for what ever they need it for. At the moment we need to work together to beat the virus and this is one extra way to help.”
