The academy is has been bringing football back after Coronavirus restrictions were eased.

And this has been welcomed in helping girls with their mental and physical wellbeing.

The sessions have been successful with girls aged five- to 11-years-old attending every Saturday along with boys aged five to 16. This aims to bring young people from all backgrounds together.

Sessions take place between 12 and 2pm at the Olympic Legacy Park in Attercliffe.
