The 12 areas of Sheffield where Covid-19 infection rates are lower than 100

Coronavirus case rates have continued to drop in the majority of neighbourhoods in and around Sheffield.

According to an interactive map which collates data from Public Health England, these areas of the city all have rolling seven-day case rates of less than 100 per 100,000 of the population.

This is lower than the current national average of around 150.

It’s promising news for those hoping Sheffield- currently subject to Tier 3 level lockdown restrictions- will be downgraded to a lower tier on December 16.
