It means the Owls will bid to climb out of the Championship relegation zone with the same side which defeated Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 at Hillsborough seven days ago.

There’s also still no place for January signing Andre Green in the squad and, unsurprisingly, it's the same bench Thompson selected for the game against the Chairboys.

Wednesday go into this evening’s game at the Bet365 Stadium in 22nd place but just a point from safety following an upturn in form which has seen them win four of their six league games in 2021.

Writing on Twitter, our Owls correspondent Joe Crann wrote: “#SWFC unchanged, and unsurprisingly so. Nobody deserved to be left out after the Wycombe win, so it’ll be Harris and Reach whipping them in for Rhodes and Paterson again.”

But what have Wednesdayites made of tonight’s team news?

Let’s take a look at what a selection of fans are saying on Twitter.

@OneSwfc If it ain’t broke, and all that…

@MrPaulPashley Come on boys! Harris have Foxy on toast.

@jonnyhardy7 No changes, you love to see it.

@Bobbydazzler29 Best 11 we have. Fully rested. Let’s ave em!

@christopher_kit I reckon that’s our best 11.

@chrisowls75 Wonder which team will turn up tonight ... Charity FC or one that’s fighting to stay up?

@mollllllllers I’m confident. I’m very confident. This level of confidence worries me.

@AbbieSchofield6 Best starting team we have, let’s have it! Another win would be nice. Come on.

@NickJames1988 The Stoke fans in meltdown over their line up, our fans happy with ours. This is only going to go one way, isn't it?
