Smoke spread to a shop and flat after an arson attack in the Page Hall area of Sheffield

Rubbish to the rear of Patrons Desserts on Hinde House Lane was set alight and smoke spread into the shop and a flat above.

The incident was reported to emergency services at around 6.30pm yesterday.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the blaze was started deliberately but flames did not spread into any properties.
