The Fox Valley Farmers’ Market is taking place on Saturday at the Fox Valley retail park in Stocksbridge from 9am to 3pm – as rules allow essential traders and food stalls to operate.
Stalls will include Old Bridge Bakery, The Cheese Shop and Weigh to Save, an eco-friendly stall where shoppers can bring their own containers and weigh dried food including flour, sugar, lentils, cereals and nuts.

A one-way system will be maintained and there will be wide footpaths to enforce social distancing. Extra space is being left between each stall and hand sanitiser will be available.
Alongside the market, several essential retailers are still open at Fox Valley such as Holland and Barrett, Aldi, Home Bargains and Boots. Sandersons Boutique, Costa Coffee and Next are open too for click and collect or takeaways.
Jessica Horton, from the Fox Valley Markets team, said the farmers’ market was ‘a great way for visitors to shop safely for their essential items while supporting local traders’.
