Eerie photos show the abandoned halls of a Sheffield primary school that’s come to market 12 years after closing.
Tinsley Infant School, in Siemens Close, has stood empty since shutting in 2014 - but pictures show how some chairs, trolleys and children’s drawers are still exactly where pupils and staff left them.
The school is only a stone’s throw from its successor at Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy School - but is even closer to J34 of the M1.
Anyone who went to this long-lost Tinsley primary school may be moved by its state of repair now.
The gallery below captures empty classrooms, peeling wallpaper, holes in the roof, and a once-lively assembly hall now standing silent.
The building has been listed for sale by Sheffield City Council, who note the originally 1900s era building is not Grade-II listed - but also draw attention to a WWI War Memorial that the new owners will be responsible for maintaining.
Browse our gallery below to see if any of these photos spark memories - or, if you have ideas for the site and have £325,000 spare, visit its page on RightMove here.
