Stay at home challenge for Sheffield pupils

Primary school children in Sheffield are being invited to take part in a free sports challenge using household items including socks, towels and tins of food to help keep them active during the coronavirus lockdown.

The new Stay At Home Challenge is the brain child of Yorkshire-based sports education company Sporting Age.

It is designed to help children continue to improve their level of ability at movement skills such as running, jumping and throwing while they are off school.

Shaun Fox, managing director at Sporting Age, said: “The Stay At Home Challenge is all about children having lots of fun while developing their fundamental movement skills while they’re not in class.”
