It’s been a good month for Sheffield’s schools as the latest round of Ofsted reports routinely came up positive.
The education watchdog has published 11 new reports into the city’s academies and preschools over the past month, many of them based on visits in June, July and August.
All but one of the sites saw their rating improve from a worse off score or maintain their ‘Good’ rating.

Norfolk Community Primary, in Guildford Avenue, was last inspected in 2016 where it was rated 'Requires Improvement". After converting to an academy, it was visited on June 21 this year and was scored as "Good", with inspectors praising its environment as a place where pupils are "well cared for". - https://files.ofsted.gov.uk/v1/file/50193932 Photo: Google Maps

St Thomas Nursery, in Nairn Street, was inspected on August 22 and scored its third Outstanding rating in 10 years, with praise from inspectors reaching every area. - https://files.ofsted.gov.uk/v1/file/50191328
