Woodhouse West Primary School, on Coisley Hill, sent a message to parents informing them that the school will be closed tomorrow (January 24).
It said: “Due to a gas leak, there will be no heating or cooking facilities in school.
“Therefore school will be closed to children tomorrow.
“We will assume that normal service will be resumed on Monday but will text again if necessary.”
