In a statement, the school confirmed that "a small number of staff" at the school tested positive for Covid-19 last week.

The school said: "As per Public Health guidelines, these members of staff and their contacts had to isolate at home and so to support consistent learning, all children did move to remote learning from Tuesday to Friday of last week.

"There have been no new cases in recent days and we are pleased to confirm that the school is now reopened to pupils who are eligible for a place in the current lockdown.
