This new qualification is accredited by the Awards for Training and Higher Education awarding body and has been approved nationally by The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation.

The qualification is aimed at educators who want to boost their continuing professional development and understand the necessary skills to teach in online environments.

The awards were hosted by online education provider Wey Education and Olympic athlete Colin Jackson, Wey’s ambassador.

Clare said: “Since joining Wey Education in 2013, I feel I have developed as a teacher year on year and achieving this qualification has certainly helped me to continue to do so.
