Every parent wants their little one to go to the best ‘big school’ they can. So when they pick their top three preferences for the new academic year, it can make finding out on March 1 a momentous day.
Below, we’ve listed all the secondary schools in Sheffield to help parents touch base with how well rated their options were this year.
25. Stocksbridge High School - Good
Published in July 2022, the 'Good' report for Stocksbridge High School, in Shay House Lane, reads: "Leaders have high expectations of pupils at the school. There is an expanding and ambitious curriculum offer. The number of vocational subjects for pupils to study in key stage 4 is increasing over time. 26. Tapton School - Outstanding
Tapton School, in Darwin Lane, was rated Outstanding in its last inspection - in December 2012, more than 10 years ago. In that report, inspectors wrote: "Students learn exceptionally well." Photo: Google
27. UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park - Good
UCT Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, in Old Hall Road, was rated Good in all areas during its last inspection in January 2019. 28. Yewlands Academy - Requires Improvement
